First Impressions

First Impressions. Are they really as important as we're led to believe? In a nutshell... "you bet your bottom dollar they are!"

The value of a good, professionally created photo to accompany your online bio is FAR more valuable you might think. Consider this... if a potential client views your "about" page and sees a blurry, underexposed, snapshot taken with a cellphone under poor lighting conditions, they're not going to be impressed - period. Now, maybe that means very little to some people, but if it means anything at all to ANYONE, well, you can bet that a poor bio photo just COST you a client!

If, however, some thought was put into your executive headshot and your image was obviously taken by a true professional, well lit, great expression, and utilized a background that color coordinated with your website, then at the VERY LEAST, it's NOT going to SCARE OFF a new client!

Now consider the "cost" of a professional photo verses the "savings" of an amateur one. The true value lies in whether your image DRAWS IN new clients, or REPELS THEM AWAY! Don't make the mistake of selecting your photographer based on cost alone - a good one is worth FAR more than the cost of the image itself, and will continue to pay for itself over and over again.

Newsome's Studio of Photography has perfected the executive portrait for Tampa's professionals since 1986. Located at 11738 N. Dale Mabry Hwy in Carrollwood (North Tampa), we can accommodate everything from a simple "studio headshot" to an in-depth "environmental office portrait."
